lavender ginger buttercream + on perfectionism
Spring is coming! And you know what? I think for…
This is gonna be a very short post, about nothing more than how to make perfect german pancakes without doing harm to animals by taking anything from them. There’s a lot more interesting stuff to come in upcoming posts, so stay tuned 😉
These pancakes are as simple as possible, while also being as delicious as possible! Just three basic ingredients and you’re good to go 🙂 If you want you can also add things like sugar and spices or cacao or anything you like.
German pancakes are supposed to be a little thicker, but i like them if they’re thin so i made them almost like crêpes. You can easily make them thicker by adding less milk than i did.
Basic German Pancakes
(makes about 15 large ones)
Mix the ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Heat about two teaspoons coconut oil in a frying pan. On medium heat, fry your pancakes one at a time (for about 1min each side) until all of your batter is used up. That’s it, you’re done! 🙂
Tip: In case you were wondering, you can’t taste the banana. Also, these pancakes pair well with anything you wanna fill them with, sweet or savory, so feel free to go crazy with the fillings!
